1. Reserve Your Parking Online

For any major event in the city, it’s always best to reserve a parking spot ahead of time. This way you have guaranteed access to the garage, regardless of how busy traffic is the day of. Not to mention, you have unlimited in & out privileges during your reservation time. We’ve created specific pages for you to reserve your holiday event parking:

105th Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony

Date: 11/16

Get your spot underneath the towering spruce in Millennium Park before the switch is flipped! Enjoy music, a visit from the Mayor, and commentary from Hamilton’s very own Miguel Cervantes. Reserve your parking at Wabash-Randolph Self-Park or Adams & Wabash Self-Park  and be a quick stroll from Chicago’s Christmas kickoff!

Magnificent Mile Lights Festival

Dates: 11/16 – 11/17

The 27th annual Lights Festival invites all walks of life to two days of free, family-friendly activities! Saturday’s televised parade ends in grand  fashion with a spectacular fireworks display along the river: certainly a sight you don’t want to miss! Reserve a space at any of our 4 closest garages and find yourself right where you need to be.

2. Plan to Arrive Early

If you plan on visiting hot spots like Millennium Park or the Magnificent Mile, be sure to arrive as early as possible. With the mass amount of drivers, many who are unfamiliar with driving in the city, there are sure to be traffic jams closer to the event starting.

Try your best to reserve a space an hour or so before you normally would just to be on the safe side!

3. Extend Your Reservation

Realize that you need to stay a little bit longer? That’s no problem at all! With every iParkit reservation, you have the option to edit and extend your reservation.

  • In the main menu tap on “RECEIPTS”
  • Tap on the reservation you would like to edit
  • Scroll down to “EDIT RESERVATION”
  • Change the end time on your reservation
  • Make your changes to the time and or date
  • Your new rate will display before you proceed to extend your reservation, so you’re well aware of what the additional charge will be.
  • Tap “CONFIRM CHANGE”
  • This will update your current reservation to reflect the new end time.

If your reservation hasn’t started yet, you can still extend it ahead of time. If you do so, a new reservation and barcode will be created.

  3. Reservation Extensions: If you need to stay longer during your reservation time, you can extend your reservation. Just know to make any edit to your reservation, you must have an account set up.
  4. Friendly Cancellation Policy: For pre-paid reservations, we allow you to cancel up to the time your reservations starts. Our website and apps allow you to do this yourself – you just need an account. You can cancel a reservation by going to your receipt in the app or online. If you need to cancel after your reservation time has started or need a refund for a different reason, please contact us at iparkitrefund@intpark.com.
